Solutions of the Renormalisation Group Equation in Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model

Renormalisation Group Equation(RGE) for color and top couplings sector of MSSM has been solved. The mass of the top comes out to be 180.363±\pm 10.876 GeV and βtop\beta_{top}=π2\frac{\pi}{2}. It is conjectured that the masses of the other 11 fermions and the CKM phase angle ϕ\phi can be theoretically estimated. The results confirm the fact that the quarks and leptons have been created having equal mass \sim 115 GeV at the MSSM GUT scale  2.2×1016\sim ~2.2\times 10^{16} GeV

Semilocal Convergence Analysis of an Iteration of Order Five Using Recurrence Relations in Banach Spaces

[EN] Semilocal convergence for an iteration of order five for solving nonlinear equations in Banach spaces is established under second-order Fr,chet derivative satisfying the Lipschitz condition. It is done by deriving a number of recurrence relations. A theorem for the existence-uniqueness along with the estimation of error bounds of the solution is established. Its R-order is shown to be equal to five. Both efficiency and computational efficiency indices are given. A variety of examples are worked out to show its applicability. In comparison to existing methods having similar R-orders, improved results in terms of computational efficiency index and error bounds are found using our methodology. The authors thank the referees for their valuable comments which have improved the presentation of the paper. Search for single production of a heavy vector-like T quark decaying to a Higgs boson and a top quark with a lepton and jets in the final state

    Get PDF
A search for single production of vector-like top quark partners (T) decaying into a Higgs boson and a top quark is performed using data from pp collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV collected by the CMS experiment at the CERN LHC, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2.3 fb−1. The top quark decay includes an electron or a muon while the Higgs boson decays into a pair of b quarks. No significant excess over standard model backgrounds is observed. Exclusion limits on the product of the production cross section and the branching fraction are derived in the T quark mass range 700 to 1800 GeV. For a mass of 1000 GeV, values of the product of the production cross section and the branching fraction greater than 0.8 and 0.7 pb are excluded at 95% confidence level, assuming left- and right-handed coupling of the T quark to standard model particles, respectively. This is the first analysis setting exclusion limits on the cross section of singly produced vector-like T quarks at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV
